pursuing connection

A little about Jeff

I love people, learning new things and authenticity. I am passionate about helping people pursue connection through relationships and navigating life through its up downs and surprise turns. I am highly relational and seek to develop a partnership with a client that is safe and full of grace so that they able to share, explore and grow.

Life often feels like a roller coaster. Our story is full of ups, downs and surprising turns. However, it is our story! We can grow at our pace and we do have power in how it is written and where our story will go. My desire is to come alongside people and help them grow in their understanding of themselves and their relationships so they can navigate life to pursue their best story.

Before beginning a career in counseling, I spent 15+ years working with adolescents in a non-profit organization. I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at William Jessup University. I have two sons of whom I am so proud. Giants baseball, tacos, running, being with my boys, and mentoring people are my joys in life.

My office is in Bridgeway Christian Church in Roseville, CA.

Helping Adults

I meet with adults of all ages for individual therapy, couples therapy, or pre-marital therapy. I am person centered and creatively use different therapy techniques and styles depending on the person(s) needs. That said I primarily work from from an attachment or emotionally focused framework. The therapy process starts where you are.

Helping Teens and Children

I enjoy working with many kids and teens, and have great compassion for them, (and it’s also possible I am a big kid in an adult body).

Sessions often include play, art, music, talking, and emotional awareness.

Seminars/Speaking

I offer seminars on understanding depression and anxiety, communication, and conflict patterns between couples.

I speak to different audience sizes and creeds. Topics include mental health issues, relationships, healthy boundaries, and the intersection of mental and spiritual health.
